MailerLite Pricing Explained: Plans, Limits and Discounts

How MailerLite pricing works after the June 2026 plan update: the Free, Comfort, Power and Enterprise plans, what drives the price, and how to estimate your cost.

MailerLite’s pricing is simple once you know the one rule that drives it: you pay for the number of subscribers on your list. The plan you choose decides which features and limits you get. This guide explains the current plans, what changed in June 2026, and how to estimate your monthly cost.

How MailerLite pricing works

Three things determine what you pay:

  1. Your plan: Free, Comfort, Power or Enterprise. Higher plans unlock features and raise limits.
  2. Your number of active subscribers: paid plans are priced in tiers. As your list grows past a tier boundary, your price moves up to the next tier.
  3. How you pay: annual billing saves 10%. Eligible nonprofits get 30% off. Only one discount applies at a time.

MailerLite’s pricing page puts it simply: “pricing is based on usage, not feature access.” In practice that means the number of emails you can send is tied to your subscriber tier on Comfort. Power removes the sending cap, subject to a fair-use policy.

Free

The Free plan is for testing MailerLite or running a small list. It includes 250 subscribers, 2,500 emails a month, 2 user seats, 3 active automations (up to 5 steps each), 3 forms, 1 landing page and 1 website (up to 5 pages). Support is knowledge base only.

In June 2026 MailerLite reduced the free subscriber and email limits, but it also opened several features to Free users, including the custom HTML editor, custom templates, blogs and promotional pop-ups. Free accounts can also use the AI subject line generator (with limited credits) and MailerLite’s MCP server, which connects your account to ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor.

Comfort (formerly Growing Business)

Comfort is the plan most small businesses will end up on. It starts at $12 a month and adds 3 seats, 50 active automations (up to 100 steps each), more forms and landing pages, and email support. Paid-plan features include auto resend, unlimited templates, a preference center, RSS campaigns, paid newsletters, and removing the MailerLite logo from your emails. Paid plans also unlock most of MailerLite’s HeyLite Intelligence AI tools: the AI writing assistant, AI-generated HTML emails and landing pages, and Smart sending.

Power (formerly Advanced)

Power starts at $25 a month and removes most caps: unlimited seats, automations, forms and sites, and unlimited sending under fair use. It is the only plan with multiple triggers per automation and adds live chat support.

Enterprise

For lists of 200,000 subscribers or more. Pricing is quoted individually and includes priority support, deliverability support and a dedicated success manager. A dedicated IP address is available as an add-on.

Free trial

New MailerLite accounts get a 14-day free trial of premium features, with full support including live chat. It’s a good way to try paid-plan tools before you decide whether you need them.

Factors that affect your price

  • List size. This is the biggest factor. Removing inactive and bounced subscribers keeps you in a lower tier, and it is good for deliverability too.
  • Monthly or annual billing. Annual billing saves 10%, but you commit for a year.
  • Plan choice. On Comfort, your monthly email allowance is tied to your tier. If you send very frequently, Power’s unlimited sending may be worth the higher price.
  • Nonprofit status. Eligible nonprofits get 30% off.
  • Currency. MailerLite shows prices in USD and EUR. Taxes may be added depending on where you are.

How to estimate your cost

  1. Count your active subscribers today, and estimate where you’ll be in 12 months.
  2. Decide which features you need. If you need multiple automation triggers or live chat support, you need Power. Otherwise Comfort is the usual starting point.
  3. Estimate how many emails you send per month. On Comfort, check that your sending fits within 10× your subscriber tier.
  4. Look up the exact tier price on the official pricing page. Move the subscriber slider to your expected list size.
  5. Compare monthly against annual billing. Annual saves 10% if you’re confident you’ll stay.

Is MailerLite good value?

At the smallest tiers, MailerLite’s paid plans are among the lower-cost options for a full-featured tool that includes forms, landing pages and automation. Value depends on your situation, though:

  • If you have thousands of subscribers but send rarely, a tool that charges by emails sent (such as Brevo) may cost less.
  • If you want to stay free with a larger list, Kit’s free plan allows up to 10,000 subscribers, though without automations.
  • If you need advanced automation and CRM, paying more for ActiveCampaign may be better value than working around MailerLite’s limits.

Our MailerLite alternatives comparison looks at these trade-offs in more detail.

Frequently asked questions

Is the MailerLite Free plan really free forever?

MailerLite presents the Free plan as a permanent plan, not a trial. You can stay on it as long as you stay within its limits (currently 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month). MailerLite can change plan terms, as it did in June 2026, so check the official pricing page from time to time.

What happens if I go over the Free plan limits?

According to MailerLite’s free-plan FAQ, sending, automations and new subscriber signups are paused once you exceed the limits. You can resume by upgrading or by reducing your list, for example by removing inactive subscribers.

Do unsubscribed people count towards my price?

MailerLite prices by active subscribers. Unsubscribed and bounced contacts are not active subscribers. MailerLite’s help center explains exactly how it counts them, so check there if you are close to a tier boundary.

Does MailerLite offer a discount?

Yes. Paying annually saves 10%, and eligible nonprofits get 30% off. MailerLite’s FAQ says only one discount can be applied at a time.
